ডা. এসএম খালিদুজ্জামান প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনীতে জেলা পর্যায়ে তৃতীয় স্থান এবং ৮ম শ্রেণিতে কৃতিত্বের সাথে বৃত্তি পান। এসএসসিতে উপজেলায় সর্বাধিক নম্বর পেয়ে প্রথম শ্রেণিতে এবং এইচএসসিতে রেকর্ড সংখ্যক মাক পেয়ে প্রথম শ্রেণিতে উত্তীর্ণ হন। পরবর্তীতে খুলনা মেডিকেল কলেজ থেকে এমবিবিএস এবং ইন্ডিয়া থেকে উচ্চতর ডিগ্রী এমএসসি (ক্লিনিক্যাল এমব্রায়োলজি) অর্জন করেন।
ছাত্রজীবন শেষ করে ডা. এসএম খালিদুজ্জামান বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামীতে যোগদান করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামী ঢাকা মহানগরী উত্তর মেডিকেল থানা আমীরের দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। এছাড়া ডাক্তারদের নিয়ে গঠিত জাতীয় সংগঠন এনডিএফ ঢাকা মহানগরী উত্তর শাখার সভাপতির দায়িত্ব পালন করছে।

Dr. S. M. Khaliduzzaman, He completed his MBBS degree from Khulna Medical College and subsequently undertook a two-year internship at the same institution. Dr. Khaliduzzaman commenced his career on January 1, 2008, at Evercare Hospital (formerly Apollo Hospital), a renowned medical facility.
